ANIMALOPERA - designed for performance by live singers*, as a puppet opera, or as mime - offers exciting possibilities for EDUCATION and OUTREACH. For this purpose, we have put together a PRODUCTION PACKAGE available for purchase by schools, opera companies, and other organizations interested in musical education.

The PRODUCTION PACKAGE includes royalty and performance rights and contains everything you need for performance (with either recorded music or a live ensemble):

I. BASIC PACKAGE

· the enhanced CD
· libretto
· poster
· educational guide ("ANIMALOPERA IN A BOX")
· program notes
· notes on staging (with live singers, mimes, or puppets)

II. BASIC PLUS

Includes all of the above PLUS the following available by RENTAL only (email us for information):

· Score and parts: 2 soprano, 2 mezzo, 2 tenor, 2 baritone, bass; vln, vcl, clar, hn, pno

· Production, including puppets and set as seen on the video

* ANIMALOPERA will be presented for the first time as an ensemble with live singers and instrumentalists by the Manhattan School of Music on April2 and 3, 2004 at 8:30 pm and 10:30 am respectively.

NOTES:

· Poster (11 x 17) reproduction of original artwork by NORMA MICHEL: enjoy the enchanting artwork or announce your own performance!

· Educational Guide “ANIMALOPERA in a Box”: ideas for introducing ANIMALOPERA to young people, connecting to teaching standards (e.g., literacy, geography, health), classroom activities (making a paper theatre, creating costumes, masks, etc.)
